Cape Town, South Africa

Mar 2014

Saturday morning in Cape Town is the perfect time to spend a few hours at the Woodstock Neighbourgoods Market. A retro-looking young lady on an old fashion caravan serves red tea and homemade lemonade. All around, more than a hundred stalls sell a variety of goods, from emerging casual brands to food from all around the world. It’s the image of a Cape Town where two oceans meet and seven languages blend. Before or after visiting the market, stop at Superette, a super cool bar for all day breakfast or a long brunch with friends. And although you’re not on the ocean, you can recognize its presence. It’s in the air and in the lifestyle of the crowd gathering here: a few surf boards lying around, Kokedama pot-free plants hanging from the ceiling, avocado and eggs on toast.
