There is something magnetic about this riad, and this city. Both will conquer your heart and leave you with sweet vivid memories. It’s a mild evening of May and we’re in the heart of Marrakech’s Medina surrounded by flat rooftop terraces. At night, the muezzin reaches us in the quiet top rooms that are like private luxurious apartments with subtle colour combinations such as cyan, amber and old rose. Corridors and staircases are majestically decorated with marble. Life here revolves around the patio, a heaven of water and plants. At breakfast, we savour large soft pancakes with a sprinkle of honey in the morning light.
