Fårö is a small land north of Gotland. It’s the island of another island, its younger sister. Get here in the warmest summer months, just before sunset. Reach Langhammarshammaren and sit on the stones next to the giant monoliths looking West. Watch the strong light become weaker and weaker like the flame of a candle and then disappear. Go to Tati Crêperie and Kutens Bensin for a rockabilly concert. They’re next to each other, sharing the same courtyard and the same pure vintage style. Usually, gallettes are large thin and crunchy discs made with eggs and served with different fillings. Our favourite was filled with wild blueberries and a yellow flower.
